Soft from the first night
We buy linen that has already been washed and tumbled so it arrives with a broken-in hand, not a stiff board feel. The fabric keeps relaxing for years if you treat it kindly.
What we look for
- Mid-weight flax that drapes without collapsing
- Undyed or lightly pigmented yarns that show fiber variation
- Seams finished for real laundry, not display-only stitching
Care that actually works
Wash cool, skip heavy softener, and line dry when you can. Heat and fragrance shorten the life of the fiber. A little wrinkle is part of the look.
If a set feels right in the hand in the shop, it will feel better after a month at home.
